Actually it lands REALLY short with it down. No damage and no cartwheel flipping habits

That's awesome. Probably around 12 to 14 years ago a guy went to do a touch and go in front of our campsite at Park Moabi with his landing gear down. The plane flipped right in front of us. We had some firefighters and a nurse with us so they were in good hands once they fished them out of the water. The guy had thousands of hours flying too.
