I noticed even the brand new trailers have carpet in, and under the slide. My buddys brand new trailer the slide comes in past the carpet, and scrapes the vinyl plank looking flooring, and leaves marks.

My trailer has the same setup. I wanted to change out the little bit of carpet, but after seeing the scrapes on my Buddy's floor, I will leave the carpet under the slide. I don't know how it would look with plank flooring inside the slide, and leave carpet under the slide.

Yeah problem with mine is the slide goes over half carpet in the living room and half vinyl in the kitchen. I do have a couple small dings in the vinyl but that was from before the slide was adjusted.

I redid our Seneca Class C with peel and stick vinyl wood looking stuff, stuck it over the top of the linoleum, easy and it looked great. I am assuming you could do the same by just ripping out the carpeting. The living room slide I left carpet since nobody really walks on that and the slide came in and out with no issues, the rollers went right over the new flooring without any issue.

Ok so all the flooring is out! Now looking for advice on what to put on the partical board before sticking down the new flooring. Also before we took out the flooring we painted the walls and added new handles and hinges to all the cabinets the old gold crap had to go!
