I know Cole built a nice boat, but does anyone know about this hull (250-s)and how it rides? I thought it was a step bottom, but not sure.

There was some discussion about Cole's in general, and that boat in particular I thought a couple years ago. Try doing a search here on the tool bar. :thumbsup

I thought only good things were said about the boat(s).

Call Pete Giroux at Giroux boats. He constructs and is very familiar with Coles and may have the answer you seek.

I have never been in a 250.. Buni will say o have never been in a cole that rode bad I would expect if it's a legit cole and built right it's a solid boat..

I still remember there hotboat ads.. 96.2 mph with a 592 and a procharger. The 250 was my favorite boat in their line up and would be the one I would have the most interest in.. I hope Kevin does the hull justice!

The only one I drove had an HP500. The 540inch carb model and it was solid! I do not recall a step and it did not have the punch of a blown motor. It also settled down quickly compared to my Howard (step boat). This was the "line" the led me to my Howard.

I have seen a couple. There was also one at an OP6 about 6-7 years ago. It is a big 25 footer.
