nice work and a very cool thread.
How bout splitting some 3/8ths fuel hose?
Poncho
I will go by on Monday and find out exactly what was used but I think Warpt71 is correct. This is the kind of stuff that makes hanging out with these guys fun. The hose could simply be cut by hand with a razor blade and would functionally work, but the chance that you could cut a straight line in the hose is pretty questionable and would most likely look like crapola when done. Pete and Sean made a tool specially for this job, to cut the hose, perfectly straight. Most would not see that kind of detail going on with this stuff unless you have been there.
Wish I could say its mine. Damn I want oneAnother Cole/Giroux flat bottom getting started !!!!
And finally hows this for some trick shit ??? Sean tried to explain to me what he was building out of a chunk of aluminum, but I was, dude you gotta talk in like 3rd grade speed for me to understand !!! I still didnt get it, but I get this and wish it was my boat instead !!!
check out how the bottom of the tray holder flows with the floor......:thumb up::thumbup:
ps, he aint done... I heard him ranting on about some other cool tricks going into this.... stby
GregG, if your the kind of person who appreciates attention to detail and finer craftsmanship of materials applied then you would really be impressed getting up and close to their product. The pictured do it no justice. Its like fine furniture....the stuff you keep for a lifetime.
They really think this stuff out and brainstorm on new ideas. Seriously....its bitchen.

What Mike has mentioned above has to the understatement of the Decade!
Pete and Sean rock the industry!
Here some work from last weekend... Crazy to sit and listen to the boys talk about all the history and engineering that goes into to a piece like this. Don't call these guys if you want to go slower !!!:yikes:yikes:yikes
Sorry Mike, we actually put our order in last December and had to wait this long to get one. I guess all good things come in time! We are going to drill holes in it and rig it, my oldest kid can't wait to get started. The exuberance of youth!! We should have her ready to go next season, maybe even have some seat time so we're not going in blind!!All you guys jumping in front of the line are fortunate I'm a good Dude and an extremely patient person.....
