I designed this one about a year ago and have been just sitting on it waiting for a reason to build it. The reason finally came thru the door named Stan from Schiada Boats. He was here to look at my standard v-drives when he says "I want a bigger gear, but not lose the water jacket". We walked over to my computor and we were off and running. Not only did we not lose the water jacket, we added another one. Made a few tweaks to it per Stan, and here is the "Super V-Drive". Inside water jacket wall is 6.500" diameter. All standard parts fit these cases. These are exclusive to Schiada Boats.

So the wife and I were at Kentucky Chicken when I whipped out a pen and started to draw this precision print. I probably should have had it notarized. :)

I saw them today when I was down at Schiada talking to Stan. Thinking about switching my billet menkins cases to these for the extra water jacket.

Would this be a drop replacement for a Casale case or are the dimensions different?

Wow! beautiful piece. I didn't pick up on the second water jacket right away, but when I did I wondered how the water will drain out. For example the std. water jacket has the in and out water lines at the bottom of the water jacket so the void drains as soon as the boat is taken out of the water. With your new design the lower jacket in and out are at the top which will trap the water and it will corrode the cases even when anodized and really fast if the cases are merely polished. I'm not knocking your part, just suggesting you figure out a way to get the water out of the lower part of the cases. Just my two cents. BTW. I would love to put a billet case in my 21' someday, they are just bitchen...

I see what ya mean BamBam. I guess I could put a small 1/16 pipe plug down at the bottom of the case. I'll think about that one. For now, a shot of air from underneath the boat should clear it out.

Stan at Schiada is assembling the first set. He's almost done. They will be available on our website by the weekend.

The Super V-Drive is approx. 1/2" taller and 1" wider (left to right) than the standard Collins billet case. Thickness is the same.

Gear range is 38%-80% overdrive.

We do have cases in stock and ready to ship. Price will be $1381.25. All of Collins billet v-drive components will bolt right up to the Super V-Drive. You will have to get a larger gasket set and mid plate which we have in stock also. :)

Thanks, Phil
