Do you use your work phone to access Company resources often? Then you would need that to connect to be "inside" your works network.

On the other hand, VPN can be also used to hide your real IP and if you are security conscious, you could subscribe to a service for those protections.

Yea just be careful connecting to Public wifi spots from your phone, and if you MUST do it, limit surfing to only stuff that isnt privacy critical. Dont do online banking. LOL
