Looking for someone that can core some holes around my parents pool for umbrella posts. Pops has been battling the cancer for few years but wants to get back in the pool without being in too much sun all the time. Not sure when i will be out there any time soon. Thanks zach

Forget the concrete guys they are so busy they avoid anything small right now, go with the fence guys they bore holes all the time. Try CalZone Fence, they did all our fence work and most of our neighbors as well...

I know you said you wouldn't be out for a while but. If you do it yourself, slab is probably only 3 1/2" thick. Not enough to hold an umbrella in the wind out here. Pool lines are an unknown factor as far as where and depth. Make sure whoever does it checks the area with an IR camera, even the cheap ones can see pool lines when running.

Good point about the slab thickness. Maybe he could drill it a touch wider and epoxy in a sleeve that is deeper?
