So my family has had the infamous car hauler since 1991. That thing has been to Mexico, offroad adventures, and most recently on a two week road trip all over the western United States. I also have a 24 enclosed that worked but I wanted to make it bad ass and it was gonna get pricey quick.

So I sold my enclosed to my neighbor, and I sold my car hauler to the guy I bought this from.

So I decided I want to just have one trailer for everything. The new rdp Offroad trailer & car hauler!

Guy picked up my car hauler today! I gotta go get a copy of the title for it and he’s gonna come back and pay the balance when I give him the title..

I don’t expect he will lend it out either.

It is a 2021 with 3,000 miles on it. Most of which was put on when the guy went to go get it in Texas. Lol. He brought it home and it didn’t fit for his needs so he put it up For sale. I saw it on fb while I was traveling and messaged him that I wanted it and we made a deal so when I got home I went to kingman and grabbed it.

That things nice as F. I was talking to that guy also. Only reason I didn’t buy was door too narrow for sand car. Great buy for sure Dave.

You need a huge storage condo now to store RV, boat and trailer indoors

I have one.. I don’t think I want to put the rv in a place that isn’t climate controlled though. I’m gonna leave it on the side of the house with the AC set at 85..

I've got a rack storage space for the RV I could sell you.

Nice looking piece.

Universal has about 40 trailers in the queue. If you order one today you might get it next March.

Yes I Do.. that is a dedicated work trailer though. This just took my two play trailers and made them one.

You will like the build on this.. I have some pretty cool additions that are going to work out nicely.

UV will kill it faster than the heat will. Been there done that.

That’s pretty close to a pace American all aluminum trailer I had a number of years ago so it about four years ago the inside was killer with that coin rubber floor and the cabinets upfront.

Lol! Makes sense. Hope you get the cylon eye thing on it.

And? Your idea of off road trailer and mine are mighty different😂
View attachment 1017543 View attachment 1017543

You’d never get that thing some of the places we camp.

It looks like it was originally setup for a drag or road race car with the entry ramp setup and low height.

@RiverDave is it torsion axle or leaf sprung?

I did the opposite of Dave and bought an off road trailer and wanted to get my race car in it. :p I had to basically build out of wood what Dave's has built into the door.

You can tell by the tailights, if its max width they usually have to be built in to the ramp door. Having room on the sides usually means its not 102' wide and most sand cars need that or else you have to take the paddles off which is a pita. 96" inside ramp door width is about the max unless you build something custom like a Brown they will go over the legal outside width limit of 102" if you sign a waiver. I dig the new drop axle look.

Its not so much the inside temp its what is going to happen to the outside. The gelcoat on the sun facing side will stat to spider crack, roof vents will crack and break off, the roof caulking will fall apart leading to leaks, the list of damage with this summer sun is endless. I would much rather have it inside a not climate controlled garage then sitting outside. Put a few 5 gallon buckets of water in it as well, that will help with the walls separating and the wallpaper peeling off.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a sick ass trailer!
All the skirting around the wheels and so low slung just wouldn’t cut it for me.

Looks killer behind his truck👍

Black gelcoat will turn a nice satin charcoal in time if there is no clear on it too😉

I had to engineer how to get my low ass car into this yesterday 😂. Home Depot Racing Department saved the day.

Mine was built to haul a Jeep.

I think this will be OK for Dave. Not like his RV can go that deep off road anyway.

Truth.. we aren’t taking the RV into the outback.. lol. We generally camp somewhere pretty accessible

Guess I’ll stick it in storage.. gotta figure out how to properly store this thing and not kill all
The batteries etc.

pull it out and start it up every few weeks, thats all you need or put a trickle charger on the two tractor batteries, that way you can start it up and leave and then the engine will charge the house batteries as you drive. Ours has 8 6 volt house batteries and I dont worry about them, they are deep cycle and last forever, or worst case plug you rig into 110 if the storage unit has that, that will be all you need to keep the house batteries charge.

And yeah on the condo thing, Stacy has me on the interest list for the second phase going up next door. I suspect with aluminum costs being the way they are that the pricing will be considerably higher. She also said that they dont know the completion timeline due to supply shortages.

You will need a 14' door or close to it on the storage unit. They rarely fit in a 13' door especially if you have a satellite dome on top.

That’s a bad sob congrats, I’m sure when Griner gets done with it it’ll still look good on the side of the house, as well that’s the east side.

Awesome set up. The cabinets, lighting, flooring and side door. Shit, that’s better than some of homes in Parker :)
