Was watching this one on Bring A Trailer. Went for a grand above what I was willing to pay. Planned on putting it in my office as decoration. Now I’m determined to find one. Don’t care the make, just something cool worthy of putting on display in an office. Anyone have something like this?

I have a Buddy in Cleveland that has gone to Italy several times in the last 10 years and bought new Ducati's and he has road with ex Factory racers, he has bought a few old factory race bikes and circulates them thru his office as art work...

Another guy who may be on this site bought one of the first Vrods in Los Angeles and it sits in his office..

I have been looking for a Rickman / Metisse to do the same.

Great Idea.....

Lemme know if has one for sale. Cleveland isn’t too far. We boat on Lake Erie and get over there one in a while. Vintage duc might be out of my “art” budget though. Maybe I could hide it in some “equipment” expense...

I’m always looking at bikes for display - I look at the Italian old bikes / the 125 or 250 Ferrari or old Ducati’s etc.

6k seemed pretty fair for that one!
I’d have bought buy now - except I don’t have a place to put it!

I’d have bought but now - except I don’t have a place to put it!

I’d say it was a good price. Never ran. Didn’t even have fluids in it. It was a little 125.

Try 818)705-8655 Michael, has a lot of European bikes. Sells one now and then, knows a lot of people with bikes. He was a Triumph dealer in the 70’s.

F400's 👍

This is me with my DOHC Honda 450. Paid $1350 new in 1972. My buddy's CB550 is next to it. The F400 and the 450 are collectible, the 550 is not so much. The original Honda 450 [ called black bomber ] from the mid 60's would be a great find for someone collecting.

Buddy has a 2010 Ducati Desmosedici RR he had built new sitting on a peda-stool in his living room. Think it has 100 or so miles on it. These pics were from the day he got it delivered, he road it down to our house to show us.

‘Have a soft spot for the Honda fours...

My dad had one of the first 750‘s to hit the USA in 69. The bike is long gone but I still remember how it smelled when new!
Nothing wrong with the 550 at all...

Managed to buy a 350four a few years back with under 400 miles on it. The bike literally has the factory air in the tires. After watching what the early Honda’s are bringing at auction it is likely going up for sale this year.
