I just picked one up to use as a PC monitor since I spend tons of time working at my desk. Working great so far, pluged right into my PC, and the price is smokin'. My eyes and back are thanking me since I don't have to lean forward to read the fine print anymore. Thought I would pass it along.

Check it out at Costco.com

I run the same size only an Olevia. Now the letters are big enough to read.

No, it is great. I can actually set the res for the highest settings and still see stuff (does not get too small). Fits the screen perfect and is much better than the 21" I just replaced. I sit back a way from it a bit over 3' and it is perfect. I can push the monitor way back and get more desk room. So far, I really like it.

I know you say that it's a 32", what are the exact dimensions, I want to see if that thing will fit in my TV cabinet in the bedroom, the old set is on it's last leg... :)

Per Costco's website.

31.42" x 21.81" x 4.13" (w/ out stand), 31.42" x 23.27" x 8.89" (w/ stand)

What's the Max Resolution? I picked up a 24" samsung widescreen from costo it's 1920x1200, i think it was $449, an absolutley great monitor, i should have bought 2, I have to have at least 1200 vertical lines for CAD and Graphic Design, otherwise i can't fit enough on the screen.

1366x768, not even 1080p displays/TV's would get you what you need, stick with what you got.

Yes, you are getting better res and that is a great price. I am running an old computer so this one is doing well for it. Plus, I can run a dish feed and use it as an extra TV too.

I bought a 32 Vizio HD LCD at Sams club for $478 just before Christmas. They had the 37" for $580 or so.
Its the best picture I have in the house now.

The new Vizios are great.
All the previous bugs are worked out and long gone.
We bought the 32" for the game room for the wii and ps3.
Excellent.

Lazer is the next wave of High Def that may eclipse DLP or lcd, so the prices are starting to drop dramatically.

Costco has a pallet full of Digital Research 72" high defs on the floor. $2K+ and it's moving fast.

Laser and LED are starting to be used, but only as a light source for LCD and DLP sets, but using that tech with LCD will still leave LCD behind plasma and DLP for best pic quality. Even raising the refresh rate to 120Hz on LCD's is not enough to compete with PLasma, DLP and Sony's SXRD tech. The biggest problem with LCD tech is the gaps between pixels, it is the largest out of all the other techs right now, because of that, too much light bleeds thru and the screen door effect/trails becomes real easy to see.
