No matter who wins the election, we will all go on and deal with whatever stuff gets thrown at us on a daily basis. It is what we all do.
For decades I have heard that if this guy or that guy gets elected we are finished, the Republic is over. That guy is a communist, that guy is a racist, that guy is a socialist. The sky is falling crowd never stops.
Yet every day people wake up, put their boots on and go get shit done. They adapt, they improvise and they overcome whatever is in front of them no matter what the obstacles. And before you know it, another person is elected.
Just remember that no matter who wins, roughly a third of America is unhappy, a third is happy and the other third would just like a drink. It has been that way since the very beginning of this Nation. That's how the founding fathers designed it.
Is America better or worse in the last 30/40/50 years?
personally I think we turned a corner in the 30’s and I think I Edgar Hoover was a big part of it
