For all the memes out there touting how Cancer, Heart Disease, etc... are more deadly the daily numbers are now showing Covid-19 as the deadliest killer in the US.

Here are the worldwide death rates according to John Hopkins:

The one thing missing in your infographic is a time scale. It's not there for a reason...and reason is so that whoever put that together than push their agenda.

Let's call it a 2 month scale...just for fun...

All these numbers are for a total year...so divide the numbers by 6 to get to the 2 month numbers that you posted. COVID is right there with Diabetes....IF, and that's a big IF...those stats continue steadily throughout the year. it is not the #1 killer, not even close to it, based on the information you provided.

DS - You can’t use stats that way. We’re at the height of COVID “season”. All of the others are using annualized daily averages which will have peaks and valleys. You would need to take COVID deaths and divide by 365 for apples to apples comparison.

Few are saying it isn’t real. It’s just not nearly matching the hype and panic. Proportionality and perspective are needed vs. just saying “shut it all down”.

Wrong, wrong, wrong. It’s been here since Jan. It’s been here over three months. It’s not on par with the big three (heart disease, cancer and COPD) that kill 4,100 per day in the US. Your math would mean CV19 has been here 4 days.

our office manger Husband (Mail Nurse - or as my son who is one also... says "Murse") has be diagnose with Covid-19.

also my Middle Son's (Wife's) Grandmother (Mayor Prayers to you Janet). She is 81 y/o. Been on oxygen for 12 months. Hospice last 30 days. Was rushed to ER last night, intubated and placed on ventilator. Then Dr. comes out and say's Janet mostly likely has Covid-19....

Luckily for the Dr.... I wasn't there... because there would of been one more casualty stat of death from Covid-19....

I realize that we’ve had a short spike. At 4,100 people dead EVERY day, 365 days a year, year after year from the top 3, this is not even a blip on the radar. 1.5 million for the year v. 60k or 80k is a couple weeks worth. While 80k dead is bad, the 16.8 MILLION unemployed in the last three weeks is 10% of the total US workforce.

16.8 million jobs for each 14k dead. At this rate we’ll be close to 30 million unemployed by the end of April which is getting near Great Depression numbers.

We guard our most valuable, and protect our most vulnerable, here in the US. We must focus on them, and allow the rest to get back to work. If you have a condition, really isolate. The rest, herd immunity is pretty much the norm to fight the hundreds of trillions of virus we harbor in our bodies.

95+% (we know it’s more than 80%, but less than 100%) of people that catch this will be ok.
