That has been my dream boat since I was 10 years old. I used to go to the LA show to get the brochures. In the mid nineties they were flyers and the flyer for the 21 was a red with yellow and blue stripes on a triple axle ellis parked ankle deep in water. I used to stare at that picture everyday after school. I think I still have a few copies of the brochures.

One day I will have my 21RC

Is that a 25'? how fast with the single 400?

it is a 25

in the off season with cooler water and air temps I have seen 62mph at 6600rpm.

last week, it was about 110 degrees all week, 6 peeps on board, full cooler and gas ran a nice 54mph at 6200rpm. she runs nice and smooth, right over the top, so I don't spill a drop. :)

I like running at around 50mph, nice and comfy. and enjoy the view while still passing a few inmates getting bounced around.

‘85 Sanger Mini with 565’/T-400, a homemade Barge with a 50 HP Merc ( top speed of 4 knots!!!) and a family truckster ski boat with a 350 Mag Merc that is slightly faster than the Barge. And a bad ass Kayak!

Those are really good numbers for a single 400r.

the water is warm, jump in.
All of the Forest River models (Berkshire, Southbay and Trifecta) are about the same. Very small differences, not even noticeable by someone without doing some homework. Horizon's website is showing a nice Trifecta in his inventory, it has some very nice features however a few things I would add or have changed on a build sheet. Feel free to say hi if you can find me on da lake sometime :)
