Not to good with stroke play at Pelican. Shot 11 under in 4 man scramble at Los Serranos. Came in 4th out of 36 teams. 14 under won it.

Pelican’s greens are tough as hell to read. The old everything breaks to the water is in play even if it looks uphill. Fun course though. The clubhouse has the best lunch view ever.

Damn, good pull. Crazy James Bond winery visit. I’m cheap as hell but the promise of the family BBQ almost got me to fork over the cash. I kept trying to get the boss to join. That owner invented the heart stint. The last place the guy was something with Intel. Crazy amounts of cash there.

Yep Palmaz is our favorite. We did a dinner in their house and sat with the family. Turns out my wife has friends in common from San Antonio where they both lived.

We get regular shipments including beef.

Quick trip up to Camarillo for shakes and lunch.

Super clear day, beautiful out over the coast! We did the sfra over LAX so the girls got a great look at the big guys from 3500’. We got a late start so Camarillo was a 1 hr wait by the time we got there but the girls were down to wait for shakes and play in the grass...

After we got back to Montgomery Field my oldest flew with me to Ramona to drop the plane off for some maintenance and we were back at home by 2:00.

Very special day yesterday. Celebrated 20 years of a school my father in law founded. He suffered a stroke 7 years ago and retains the most inspiring attitude imaginable. An afternoon of fun activities on the campus then came the football game. My wife went out and helped him flip the coin for the start.
