Pulled a friends 512 out of a Dimarco Runner Bottom apart this morning...Lifter Valley screens dropped through to the pan...you can image what the bearings looked like...

We do an annual "friends, local river run" for the last few years. For those of us that have lost our mom's. Every year we release flowers in the river on the way back to commemorate our losses..

Always some tears shed, but always a great time!!

Locked and loaded, ready to roll!!

What’s the deal with the houseboat
I heard it got loose and floated out there. Then the vultures came out and destroyed it. Think it's been sitting there a couple of years now.

Ahh...the debate goes on. On all my roller race motors I’ve always run a screen.
Not a believer in the mesh type though. Expanded metal with 3/16 holes will catch enough to make it to the next round. It’s solid and doesn’t break down like the mesh does.
The biggest mistake builders make, in my opinion, is the use of epoxy to keep the screen in place. With the expanded metal, I drill and tap holes in the block and bolt and locktite the screens down. A little tapping around the edges with a small ballpeen hammer and you get a tight fit.

Current situation. 20 mins out!

PS. Damn it’s busy out there for a Sunday afternoon. I zoomed in a little too much. It looked like a holiday weekend out there

Prime rib Sunday...….. Last Sunday was better. But I got that one at a high scale butcher shop VS tonight's on sale for Mothers Day at a local grocery store chain. It was still good. Just last was better. $93 VS $54, so the more expensive better be better!

Bummer to hear you touched bottom... I know a few other have too recently.

Curious to know why, all last week the water was really high on the river, maybe its time for a dredge again.... enjoy your time, we just got home yesterday and it sux being home!!

My fault. I worked in the morning and didn’t look at water level. I always thought it was heat related. Water amounts depends on electricity and farmer needs. Not really sure though.

@DWC where at? I was there last week 3 days and it’s very easy to ready. Maybe not watching?
After hearing about the Daytona being beached I was sacred but I used my same line I used when the water was way down. 3 weeks ago when I was out there.
