Fuck me , we will be on site at 11-12 ok you have 1 move , they show up at 1:30 no one from there shop came by to look at locations only sent me lift plan 😳 1st picks are a very tight fit they make 1st pick and a plane goes over low the operator says hey is there an airport around here ? Me - yes 5 miles Camarillo airport , he said WHAt we don’t have any permits me- so go get them 😃 no one from there shop came by for anything They just googled the location , So he sucks everything in and adds a flag the rigor couldn’t get it to stay there yelling at each other next pick was easy and now we are done . One thing that pissed me off is they made my HVAC guys do all rigging and signals they wouldn’t go up On the roof and do it And they had a scrap guy on the ground Loading . o well no one died

Just got home and noticed the door to my tool shed was open. I must not have shut it all the way and we have some pretty good wind today, I assume the wind just blew it open. I walk over to shut it and this little guy is flying around inside banging off the windows trying to get out. LOL! Took a minute but he finally calmed down enough for me to grab him. Took him out and set him in the grass, he instantly flew into a tree, stopped, looked at me, squawked a few times and flew off. Pretty sure he was saying THANK YOU! 🤣

The fukt up thing too is.. by them having the HVAC guys do the rigging and the signaling, if something where to "let loose" the crane company wouldn't be liable. I've been put in that situation many times.

But on the other hand, I trust myself to do or supervise the rigging. I always worry when the crane company does it, especially when I ask where the tag line is and they say "ohh we dont need one", I wont let my guys near it till its landed.

One more thing I was pissed about was it was a blind pick those units on pick 1 was 20’-25’ in the air before the operator saw them . 🤬🤬

Nothing like working on the boat instead of boating. I knew we should’ve done em before but pushed the issue. New impeller and thermostats.

Cali Real ID at the DMV. What a waste...
How long you been waiting so far?
My wife had to renew hers this month. I said just do it by mail. Don’t need the real ID because we just renewed the passports. And to worry about later.

You can do most of it online. I scanned all my documents in to the website. They sent me a DMV "Stop Sign" e mail that lets you go thru with out waiting very long. You still need to bring in the actual documents.

I did do the online portion. 45 minutes to the desk to pay and scan documents.
It’s going on an hour waiting for photo.

You scanned the docs at home and they are scanning them again? My e mail letter says to go to the express line. My buddy said he was in and out in 20 minutes. But that was the Fullerton DMV.

what model avenger is that ? I had the 16'7" with a 140 hp 'rude
I did that same job like 3 times over the years. only hard part, getting the bolt back that holds the shift rod. maybe the mercs are easier ?

76. 18’6. Bubble deck Has a 87 150 on it. It’s pretty straight forward if you remember the little trick (in my case). The copper water tube needs to be set up in the motor before you try and bolt up the lower. If we had remembered that it would of been an hour job. Instead of way to much frustration. My sons getting ready to re do the interior and clean it up a bit

Wind is booming now. Crazy. Massive towers.

Up to 125 meter towers in some places. These guys are one of my biggest customers

See below. Turbines are being set at 360' to 410' tall

Interesting theory. I am going to have to ask my wife if she married me because she liked my package. :looking:

The scenery is Unbelievable, Beautiful. I have to admit, not a Height Person and the one with the guy standing on top of the Tower. Takes a special kind of person.

That would be almost impossible to put that lower back on with the tube in the pump instead of the other way around!! Glad it worked out for you. Those pics of the lower off bring back thousands of memories!! You did put it in forward gear right??

Got my Real ID today in Fullerton. In and out in less then a hour because of doing the application online. Different and shorter line if you have the stop sign paperwork.

Yes we did. I just spaced on the tube and after struggling someone had the bright idea to do it correctly. I was so pissed at myself for forgetting such a simple step.

I know it's usually photos of my lovely wife, but that's what I like taking pictures of and it's a great way to show the perception of the back and foreground.

A 5 mile ride and cocktails / happy hour eats in Lake Las Vegas (Sonrisa Grill, great Mexican food and happy hour). Such a great night. Please have a safe and blessed Indendence Day weekend.

Wind started howling and caused the haze but other than that, beautiful.
