Just when I thought I've heard them all!!! That's a bummer and like I said never in over 40 years of working on them had I heard that before!! DamnHad a rough one with the first houseboat adventure in awhile. Docking the boat in a cove and the anchor line starboard breaks loose rear go left, over correct, line under boat, wraps in prop, tension on rear cleat,, breaks gimble housing. First time in lake havasu houseboat history. WINNING! LOL. making the best of shitty situation. This is before we got towed in. Was great while it lasted! Props to Gary and Chad very legit and treating us awesome in a bad sitch. View attachment 1027898 View attachment 1027899 View attachment 1027900

Don’t know how you do it. That’s a brutal flight. Here’s the last 30 seconds of our “warning” yesterday. Basically the gate agent warning if you don’t have your mask on correctly during boarding they’ll pull you aside and wait til the end. Southwest used to be so good. They’re a bunch of dicks now. Look for every opportunity not to serve drinks/snacks. Snipe at you before and during the flight.

What a great sunset. How do you like being out on the Westside? How do you spend your day? Do you hang at the lagoons all day or do you go drive everywhere?I always wonder since it is so far from everything and the general area is not so much tourist oriented..
We love it here because it is much less touristy than other places. We did skip up to North Shore the other day for some lunch, drinks, and shopping, but have been spending our time mostly just hanging out here and relaxing. We've done all the touristy stuff over the many years that we've been coming here, so there isn't much desire to do all of that again. Lazy mornings with a late brunch on the lanai, walk to the coves to swim and chill, and then happy hour cocktails have been the schedule that works for us. A much needed break from our typical busy life
Good eye, yup on an Astro chassis alright..... a neighbor found it somewhere and takes his kids up to mountains camping. He's a teacher and during covid while teaching classes remotely "Lil Debbie" was his quiet study away from noise of young kids at home. Things got just about everything he needs for overnights with family.Cool little camper. What is it? Don’t think I’ve ever seen one. Is it on an Astro chassis? Hard to tell from the angle of the picture. Thanks
