Well a couple issues today. Yes the drinking issues continue😱😂😜. Hot cider and rum this afternoon
But we thought hey let’s just get some stuff down for Xmas. Well. Except for lights most of the house has been converted. Here’s just sample.

Its a Kubota machine. I like it. Tough to rate the digging power as the bucket was to big and the dirt was hard. Switching between JD controls and CAT controls was easy. Just a lever by your right heel.
I see a lot of Kubota items around now

They are taking significant market from Cat and Bobcat

What do you prefer, JD or CAT? I prefer JD, I almost can't operate in CAT

US-101 was my favorite drive as a kid ~ still is. First the coast and the oil rigs out in the water and then green hills . . . horses, cattle and oak trees.

Not great pics, sissy driving pretty fast, Same problem with the Shelby Cobra pic.

Last day before I get out of this place and back to our desert oasis in Havasu!!!! I do have to say that this week has had amazing weather. Not too hot and humid with nice amount of Tradewinds. Kind of makes me think that I want to live here. Then I think about everything else. No think yo……LOL Tried to post up but service was spotty this week of traveling….

I'm surprised how many full time lake havasu residents and business owners I've met that no longer even own a boat, or if so haven't used it in years.
But no more than I am of ourselves, living here in San Diego and yet only being reminded of all the various events, recreational activities and theme parks when I read about them here on RDP. A few years ago we went with our adult kids and grandkids to the San Diego Zoo, hadn't been in well over 20 years. We can see the San Diego Zoo Safari Park from our front deck, but I bet it's been 20 years for that venue as well.
We live and work here, but play at Havasu. So yes, I get it. 😁
This is spot on!

We make a drive down the coast on special occasions hit Fidel’s in Solona beach and traffic / parking is crazy!

I was happy to wrap Phase-1 on the yard last week since it’s the most labor intensive part of this backyard project.

This week kicks off Phase-2 which is all about lighting. started with the common areas like the patio, the eaves and this grand olive tree we planted in 1992.

Six sets of LED string lights at less than 144watts total.

Of course gotta keep warm while testing landscape floods to up-light the rearmost walls. Hitch for reference 😆
