Nope...I think this is the 2nd or 3rd year coming out of Covid when everything was shut down and they had to revamp the schedule and with Florida open...ya know how that goes in Ca. And the season doesn't start until March now with Pomona the 3rd race of the season. Kind of wonky because I always enjoyed having the Daytona 500 and the Winternationals back-to-back.

We fridged it overnight, then baked it this eve.
Came out great . . . Pops even asked for 2nds . . . rare LOL.
Carved out a slab for the neighbors & still have over 1/2 left.
I'm Plugged.

Went down to Oceanside to help an old buddy of my Dads with some flooring patch / repair work.
Stopped at that 'Vista Point' lookout below San Onofre to take a peak at the coast on the way down.
The 2 old guys got to kabitz for a few hours while I got the little project handled.
On the way home We stopped at Pedros and had a couple shrimp tacos & split an asada burrito.
Good little outing with Pops.

They looked to be working on the hospitality structure, there is a company here in havasu that builds like 90% of the big aluminum canopy structures that hang off the side of the trailers for the drag race teams.
