A handful of pics from yesterday’s ride with @riverroyal and our #Stephantines group. Thanks for dragging us around Steve. Appreciate it as usual. We had a great weekend and jam packed house. Finished the night strong with a trip in the Havasu Party bus to Javalina’s.

Channel Islands Harbor
Looks almost exactly like the area that my Sister in-law's aunt and uncle are in. Been on the Hill's dock many of times. That really looks like their Duffy and dock in your pic too.

I just had to bring up Google Earth to remind myself. They are off of Lyme Bay. Other side of Costa De Oro I guess

Right there though! If you ever get out that way again, let me know. If the Cig isn't in Havasu we can take 'er for a run to the islands.

Awesome pictures and looks like a good time.

Teach the wife to drive with her thumbs outside of the steering wheel (on the face of the wheel not wrapped around) you both will thank me later. Number one way to break a thumb when you smack a rock at speed and the wheel takes off on you... ask me how I know.
Oh... and is that a tri-zinger your boy is riding??

Very true, I drive thumbs out, she needs to as well
As for the Tri zinger, yes it is. My son has been pounded on into his head about not putting his feet down if that is where you are going.
My kids aren’t raised with bubble wrap, as my gal and I grew up in the 70’s and try to impart common sense and lessons learned the hard way on my kids.
More independence with more room for them to make mistakes.

That’s awesome. No bubble wrap for my kids either. I was just shocked to see a tri-zinger in that great of condition and props for letting the kids ride it. I put many miles (have the beat up shins/legs to prove it) on a TZ and remember every mile of it.
Once I outgrew that my old many put me on a YZ 80 with a 125 motor stuffed into it. That was a whole new set of scars to be had.

Fyi...IMHO you have the coolest job on RDP!!

My buddy bought this ‘70 AMX 35 years ago. He brought it home in boxes, it was a basket case. Marriage and kids put the project on hold.

Today we’re finally putting a proper 390/Super T10 in.
