You couldn’t have paid me to ride the bike.. No chance I’d load or empty the bucket. Not sure of that....no sign of him out there yet. The real question is she using the food to lure him or the rattler?

Looks good!Pops is a Korean War Army Veteran, and I like to make a good lunch for him every Memorial Day.
So I smoked a Tri-tip / reverse-sear.
Used an old recipe for simple Rootbeer Baked Beans w/ chopped onions & thick cut bacon chunks.
Grilled some corn and made Tri-Tip sammiches w/ a hit of BBQ -Sauce w/ a couple coldies.
Pops was STOKED.

Sure, It's nothing fancy at all . . . just take one of those larger (not giant) cans of plain Bush Baked Beans, the one WITHOUT the extra flavors like, maple, brown sugar, bacon etc.Mind sharing the bean recipe? I liked baked beans and always looking for a good recipe.
Heck yeah, sounds fantastic! Thanks for sharing. Imma try it soon and report back.Sure, It's nothing fancy at all . . . just take one of those larger (not giant) cans of plain Bush Baked Beans, the one WITHOUT the extra flavors like, maple, brown sugar, bacon etc.
I chop 1/2 a yellow onion, and fry 4-5 slices of thick cut bacon . . . chop the bacon up into small pieces and throw it into the beans w/ the onions, then add 1/2 -2/3 cup of rootbeer, stir it all up in a lided pot and throw it in the over for 45 minutes at 350 . . . I usually stir it once around the 20 minute mark & call it good.
Kinda hokey, but people seem to like it.
