I was going to say, can you imagine how long it would take to build this now with all the BS involved, but it took 600 years to complete. It's amazing to see thanks for sharing.

Love Milan, used to go at least twice a year for many, many years to see a supplier in Agrate. MIlan is usually where we dined/stayed. Got gipped out of that gig due to Covid............ hope to get back one day...........

I went there for lunch today since I was in the area. The food was so good. Man, the shrimp has the best seasoning on it. I wanted to use the Chipotle sauce they give you but I didn't want to ruin the flavor. Thanks for the tip, what a cool part of town it's in. Old school but really clean.

Oh shit! Right on!! Next time you're there I highly recommend the Chicken Malenesa Torta. HOLY SHIT!! Insane.

And yeah, the area used to be straight GHETTO but it's being redeveloped slowly and the area is really cleaning up. Still a shooting around there from time to time but usually the natives shooting each other sooooooooo

It’s been an a great week in town. Took a ride to breakfast yesterday. First time to Sam’s place and it didn’t disappoint.

Van Diemen getting a facelift. Blue with silver paint . Garage is getting crowded, another 1600FF has to snug next to the VanDiemen in a few days, until a suitable garage built for next spring.

Black Radical below the Ariel Atom on the lift did work well last weekend with the new engine. Son ran it at 2:05, goal is to get it 2:00 flat like the white/black F1000.

Last day in Milan we were staying at the Westin palace in central Milan. Got a fabulous room upgrade due to my Marriott status we were staying at the Westin palace in central Milan.got

In a 900 square-foot suite with a 15 foot long steam room. Omg!

Today we walked to the castle here in Milan, some Michael Angelo , incredible sculptures in artifacts for about 1300 you’ll see in these photographs. What looked like rugs are actually tapestries designed to hang on the wall back in the day. Off to lake Como in the morning. BPI

Headed out to Lake Pleasant with the pups while the lady finishes up the work week. Plan to set up camp for the weekend and meet her down at Dillions for dinner, drinks and some live music. Excited for the sunrise and sunset cruises!


BTW @DILLIGAF I want you to know I planned my whole week so that I could double chug at your Costco 👌🏽

Launched from Pirates yesterday and ran to the Neddles bridge, then to the channel and back. We had lunch at Topock. An absolute ton of amazing boats everywhere. Saw a few of you out there.

Unfortunately, my buddy’s blower grenaded and we ended up towing him back up river 12 miles or so. None the less, a fun day was had by all.

Working on some custom picture frames, just finished with the rabbet. A friend tried it himself then called me. Up next is to plane everything to the same dimensions. Then miter the corners and begin the glue up. They want an Ogee on the inside and a round over on the outside.

Last stop! Some departing photos of Lake Como. Took the beautiful train ride all the way to the end in Venice. Photo of the room is our suite looking out to the balcony at the lagoon, Venice. Ever been here before it said JW Marriott, on its own island of 41 acres. A beauty is we have our own shuttle boat it’s a Riva style wooden boat tjat departs every 30 minutes to

Waxed the little Mercedes ML350 I bought last week. Either going to keep it on our property in the states or sell it on. Into it for $2k and they sell for $4,500.

What are the odds. In #3 episode of epic homes they talk about a one piece, 16ft black walnut dinning room table that the log came from Oregon. I sold an 8ft x 16ft black walnut log to a company in Michigan that was going to make one piece dining room tables with it. There's a thread on it somewhere in this forum. The timing is right.
