At a race track - Watching the kid send it, as usual.

Granddaughter graduated middle school today with a 4.0 average. Real proud of her achievements as she was the head speaker of her class. Sorry no pic of her as I had to take our grandson to his awards in elementary school.

Out here in Havasu for a week. So nice because work and sports have been crazy. I stared at the water for a good hour sitting in a halfway submerged chair drinking a couple beers. Love it.

Stick on Maui with delayed flights only
One gate for some reason. Hawaiian is doing a stellar job. NOT. But hey, good thing most staff members are masked up for safety.

Crappy pic, but this great horned owl was supervising my grilling last night. He was as big as a large housecat. Poor dude was hot, so he had his wings down and away from his body to cool himself. There was another one on my neighbor's fence at the same time too. Hope they did some good hunting last night.

Went to Chris Stapleton at Glen Helen last night. Pros: It’s awesome to enjoy spending time with your adult kids. We ended up parking next to the handicap area on accident.

Cons: It would have been better if it didn’t take a 90 minutes of standing in will call lines and massive beer/bathroom lines. The sound system sucked even worse. There were several brawls within 10’ on both sides. One of them was the security guys against a few guys.

Think I’ll stick to indoor venues for awhile. 😬

I've had almost all bad experiences at Glen Helen. Only real pro is that there are zero rules for tailgating.

The sound system always sucks. It made Tim Mcgraw sound like a Thursday night dive bar performance. I've seen plenty of fights. For some reason the indoor venues do way better with the beer/booze and bathroom lines.

Such an awesome venue on paper. It just never turns out well.

Saw Walker Hayes a few months ago. Agree with everything posted. We did find out they have gaps by ports potty and you can just walk right into venue. We had tickets but that was quicker.

The no rules Tailgating is definitely a plus. We had a small area next to the pond. It was pretty laid back. We didn’t see a cop or security the whole time.

Finally got around to doing a shakedown run in the bass boat I bought last year. Been tinkering with it but today was the first time it hit the water in my possession. Neat little boat, kinda the jack of all trades.

My wife, my dad and my kid like it, that's a win
