Finally got around to doing a shakedown run in the bass boat I bought last year. Been tinkering with it but today was the first time it hit the water in my possession. Neat little boat, kinda the jack of all trades.

My wife, my dad and my kid like it, that's a win

Yeah I will, it's neat but strange boat and not many were made, i had to go to texas to find this one. It's a triton 220 escape with a 250 ProXS that will push it to low to mid 60s depending on weight and fuel. The interior is playpen style, there are pads that snap on for the front and rear casting decks to make it family friendly. When I want to fish there are live wells in the rear, casting seats that mount on the floor like a regular bass boat.

Yeah the tower and racks were a factory option. I still have the formula, I wanted to run this one a bit before I sold the formula just to make sure I wouldn't regret selling the formula

Working on the Crossle FF1600. What a PIA to remove the Hewland gearbox from the chassies because of bellhouse interference in the frame. Picture shows, the bottom part of the bellhousing was already ground down thin to clear the bottom cross member. Dumped gear oil on the track, input shaft seal gone. The seal is only $ 11 dollars, but ground shipping by Fedex is $32 . Better try finding the seal locally.

How did the first batch turn out?
Really good. Mix was about room temp and ambient inside the house is 74 and it took about 40 minutes to slush. If anything it’s actually getting too cold and/or I need to keep the mix more full. Did Peach last night, we got Pina Colada, Strawberry and Margarita to try out too. 😁

It’ll be going out to Powell next month and I’m sure we’ll get it dialed in by the end of the week 🤪

@707dog you need to do a dam thread about that thing! I love it!
wish i could take credit for putting this one together but I cant. I originally set out to find another project to build my way and ended up finding this one in a garage in Newport beach was not really for sale but i was able to buy it and it was pretty much the way i would of built one. his wife was happy to have the garage space back too😁

Holed up in Gunnison. Hauling boulders
I’m ASSuming CO and not Gunnison, Utah. I’d tell you to go say hey to my brother but he’s a lib and your conversation would probably go as well as my conversations go with him.

Family just went for a visit and had a blast hiking and fishing. Pics from the creek just out the back door of the rental and of a hike.
