Just finished. 2 thumbs up.
Amazes me how many good shows and series are out there.
10 episodes with a actual ending. No next season.
Time period is the 70s and it a story about a band. Pretty much all you need to know 😁

It was pretty good. I didn't realize that the "band" actually released an album concurrent with the show. It's one of the top selling records in the country right now.

The wife read the book, and said I would like the series. She was correct as always. Two thumbs up.
Another one to check out is Shrinking on Apple TV - Harrison Ford, Jason Segel. Different side on Harrison Ford.

I enjoyed as well. I feel like they left the ending open for a season 2 with the band making a comeback!

im watching shrinking. Im not hooked on it. More of a 'go to' watch which is perfect. Always a good episode.

I read somewhere and dang if I can remember where, that the Daisy Jones was loosely based on the history of Fleetwood Mac. Anyone else know or heard that?

Yes based off of fleetwood Mac.
i think it was a great show.

and the end to me was open ended. “They still owe her a song“

Well, If everyone says it's a good show, I guess I'll tune in and see what it's all about.

Sex, drugs, rock n roll with a story line added to keep ya interested

in the beginning the current time interviews make ya think awww this may go lame, but don’t go, hang in there, it’s good

Meh...

Another agenda & cliche driven celebration of psychosis.

Kind of difficult to have a movie/series about mid-70's rock and roll without a celebration of psychosis. 🤣

Wife and I started watching it last night. At 2am, we finished episode 6 and she was out of wine. Fell asleep at 2:45am I think.😜

In some camera shots you can really see Elvis come through his granddaughter...

Sorry, thats a hard MEH for us too, stopped watching it. Wife was done early, I tapped at episode 4. Painstakingly slow. The best part of the series was listening to Patti Smith…

Lol, just on my 1st season of Yellowstone.. First series I've watch in decades..
Same here, I've always been a movie guy.

When I was a kid they always had a huge movie of the week on Sunday nights, wouldn't tell you it was 2 parts until the very end, always wanted to put a brick through the TV when that shit happened. :D

It's taken me 2 years to get to the middle of the second season of Yellowstone
