Of course the Ram 2500 I have doesn’t have mounting studs for the running boards to install. I saw the video and it looked like a breeze on real truck’s website with the studs.

Well I went under and found no studs! So I have to add mounting brackets. So this 30 minute project is now kicking my ass. I got 1 bracket down. Hopefully the rest goes well.

What I thought it had!

When I put AMP boards on my friends Ram it came with studs to install if the studs were not there from the factory. It was actually pretty easy. What steps are you putting on the truck?

I wish they were AMP boards.

I ended up calling customer service and they sent me the correct instruction manual when it doesn’t have studs and it’s making it easier. One side is done.

whoa,,, hold up... you are messing up big time....

why do I see a yeti next to the parts?

Everyone knows that when you work on your truck, you drink beer. ;)

Next time your gonna work on your truck, do it right...grab a beer, if not, its not going to work.

haha maybe that’s my problem. I don’t like beer. So that’s multiple problems for me! More of tequila drinker!

In that case it's best to finish everything involving power tools first🥃🤪

Nice job! Get yourself a front hitch next. Trust me, it makes putting the boat away so much easier 👍
Seriously thinking about a front hitch actually! The boat garage is 9 feet wide and it is set back 6feet from the other garage due to building codes. So there’s a stucco wall against it. We have inches to deal with. As you can see, there’s stucco damage from the trailer. :/

Definitely get one! My dually has a lumber rack, so I definitely can't back into the garage. Plus I have the hips and have to snake my boat around the refer to get it situated. On top of dealing with the sun, a manual transmission and looking over my shoulder... It's seriously the best investment I've ever done to my truck.
