Can't leave anything alone so I decided to install a 555 BBC out of my offshore boat into my jet boat. Should be around 650 to 700HP. I have a 1984 Hallett and am wondering how you access the back side of the stringers?

I have not pulled the carpet back yet but I am hoping that part of the floor can be removed. I have not been able to find anything online on how to install in a boat with a floor. Plenty of examples out there with exposed stringers.

Here is what I got going. Holy shit I found a lot of stuff like flip flops, lighters and money under the motor.

My plan is to buy the semi-custom kit from CPPerformance unless anyone has other suggestions.

The stringers in my day cruiser are either 2x10's, or 2x12's. I don't know how a traditional rail kit will fit, if at all.
Might have to have the front and rear motor plates custom fit for it. If it can be done in a v-drive, should be able to in a squirt botë.
