Thanks.... and no, not yet. We'll have to wait until the lifts come out for the 2020s...

Nice truck, must not get out much, are those running lights on top of the wheel wells? Never seen that before...do yourself a favor, go online and buy a dash cover...you then do not need to put up a shade, and it keeps the cab a little cooler while driving...

I can get you a good-guy discount at CJC if you go that route and buy thru them [emoji106]

They sell nearly all the top name brand stuff.

I don't think they have a kit for the 2020 HD yet but if I were to put a lift on my HD it would be the BDS coilover kit. You may want to wait until they come up with it for the 2020. I may install the 3" kit on my 2019.

Don’t complain when you get 9 to 12 miles per gallon.
BDS coilover kit, 35 inch tires. 14.3 miles per gallon. Stock never got any better than 15-16.

Now, my old half ton with the 6.2 the lift made a huge difference in mpg.

Need a lift for our new truck - 2020 GMC 2500HD. It's been 11 years since we last lifted a truck, so things have probably changed a bit. Hoping the RDP Braintrust has some wisdom to share.

Looking to put 35s, 6" lift, and really don't want a lift that requires cutting, etc that will void the warranty.

ProComp, McGaughy's, BDS, Cognito, CST? What's the best option these days?

Move along if your answer has anything to do with "don't lift it" or similar...

Yeah that’s exactly what I get with my 5.3, leveled on 33’s.
But I was right at 18 when stock.

Hey! Me too! And my truck is 18 years old. Lol! 6" lift, 33's and 3.73's. not sure what it'll get now with the 35's and 4.30's.

Don’t lift it or over-tire it......you’re re-sale value will drop in half and you will be changing tires and brakes every 10,000 miles...plus you’ll look like a 16 year old boy.

My brakes on my HD looked good after 84k when sold and ran 40s most its life towing more than half the miles. Resale was best I have had on a truck I bought new. And you must not of seen DB before.

That truck will be a head Turner for sure.

Curious, all stock, how tall is the top of the grill on that thing?

The men who are telling you not to lift it are jealous because a woman drives a cooler truck than they do.

No, we’re just annoyed that we can’t reach over the bed rails and unload the fucking thing like we could with even stock trucks 20 years ago. Almost need a ladder to climb in the tailgate now.

If it were me, I’d lower it.

Shitty setups give shitty results.
Quality setups give quality results.

So lifts/leveling kits are just like anything else...

Hey B!! Thanks! We will be selling it on Saturday with approx 198,500. Best, most reliable truck we've ever owned which is why we just got the exact same thing again.

The first choice is tire and wheel package. I would stay with a 35x12.5R18 or similar with the IFS. I have had good results with my 325/65R18 Toyo AT’s on 18x9 wheels on my Ram. Lots of people run 37’s on the GM’s, but IMO that’s too big.

35’s SHOULD fit with a 2-3” front lift and either a small block in the rear, or ideally, some nice custom springs.

Do you want airbags?

Do you tow anything heavier than your Daytona? If not, do you plan to in the next year or two?

If it were my truck, I would do a 2-3 inch lift up front with new UCAs and 2.5 Kings.

Rear I would do matching Kings with a set of Custom Deavers giving about 1” of lift, or Kings valved to work with stock springs with possibly a 1” block.

If you’re up to a road trip I would purchase a quality set of UCA’s and convince Don Thuren to prototype your truck for a set of custom Kings. Figure about 3k plus tires and wheels.

I wouldn’t throw anything taller on unless you want a pavement queen on 37’s.

This, my girlfriend has a 06 Duramax LBZ with 60k miles with a 8" lift and 37's. It just sits and we use my 99 F350 with 220,000k because you can actual use the truck without a ladder to get in the bed or check the oil

Mmmmmkay, so I changed the title of the thread since it sounds like lifts for these aren't going to be out for awhile. Stay tuned for that part....

Picked her up today. All smooth, shiny and protected with 3 layers of ceramic coat. Also had them tint the front windows more since the dealer left the two front ones too light. We also put a wrap on the fender lights to darken them. They're still functional at night, but don't look like warning reflectors anymore. Lol

I would have drive it until the wheels fall off. Not many trucks make 200k any more. Every one is amazed I have 360k on mine.

Buncha ballers up in here!! :D Love the truck DB! Your previous ride is clean as F! Shouldn't be hard unloading that one even with the mileage.

It looks like you have a lot of room in those fender wells 33 would fit and look good or go to a smaller rim size with 35's either way nice looking truck!!!

That is a gorgeous ride. Wow. CST is one that we'll be considering, especially since it sounds like they already started testing their 2020 lifts.

Yes I believe they picked my buddies truck up last Sunday to get going on it.

Does lifting your truck cause any warranty problems? Thinking about a new truck also.

Dont lift it. Put in some torsion keys and lift the front. You're not going to 4x that thing anyways. I have gone through two of them. A 13 and an 18. They're only good for mild 4x'ing.

We do level lifts for the dealers by us so that usually won't especially at those dealerships. Some lift companies have a 5year 60K mile drive train warranty that usually will cover anything that the dealership says was caused by the lift.
