What gears are in the drive? I had a single F29 and would run a 30-32p depending on the weather. Also are your props lab finished?

Josh I owned the same boat for a long time. I ran 34 Bravos on it. It got on plane better than with the 6 blade Herrings I had. I'm surprised you're only running 32's. Yours is open bow though?? Mine ran low to mid 120's with 34's

That boat has to spool up with the ilmors to get on plane. It's a n/a motor, doesn't have the torque of a blower set up. Turning props that will get you 120 plus it is what it is. I've had boats that were worse rolling over but it's not ever going to pop right up. F29 singles get on plane almost instantly. You could try a tunnel tab or big cav plates on the drives if you hate it.

I have a open bow F29 with 525 s, I am running a 1.35 gear with 32 bravos on it, it seems to plane fine but bumps the rev limiter. I may try 34 s put i am afraid
it might have trouble rolling over....PM me if you want.

I have stand off boxes and cav plates on the drives, probably takes 6 to 10 seconds to roll over, but i dont push it to hard, trying to save the drives

I ran 34 on mine with Illmors. It was fine coming out of hole. How many people are in the boat?

Was that with a 1.50 gear or a 1.35 gear ratio, how fast did it run ? Thanks

525's should be in the teens. None of them should have 1.50. Most of the 525 boats have XR's. The Ilmors have Imco's.

ONE-A-DAY I still see your old F29 up here in the Delta. Still looks great. The guy said he ready to sell, hardly uses it.

I have an F29 with twin Ilmor 710's and I have been running all Bravo props. My main set are labbed 34's I use those all the time and boat with just me in planes in seconds, when I have it loaded up It is usually about 10 to 15 seconds. When I want to run faster, I have set of labbed 36's I put on and I just ordered a set of labbed 37's from Mercury that should be here this week. I am actually curious to see if the boat will even plane with them. The plane time on the 36's depends on how many people I have in the boat and the air quality that day, but it goes from just a few seconds with just me in the boat to 30 to 45 seconds with a load. My two main sets of props were setup by Gibbs in Lake Havasu, he seems know what needs to be done to the stock set of Bravo's to get the boat to plane and get good top end numbers.
