Castle doctrine would not apply to a business that is open to the public. The masks and their refusal to leave could be perceived as a threat. I think the store owner is in the clear.Clearly not defending his own life, just property.
Is there castle doctrine in Nevada?
Seems like he's going to up his defense.
Yep, other dude already had the loot. Also if you hear the guy he said something along the lines of, "take the money but leave the jar".As soon as that guy hopped the counter he was fair game for the clerk to defend himself
Love it. Hope the thief died.
In Cali, that other perp would be charged with his partner's murder and because the clerk wasn't white, he'll get off too.Love it. Hope the thief died. Maybe his buddy will learn from this experience.
From an outsider looking in, are you sure about that? I get that there's a bunch of different counties, but it seems like it's pretty laxed there, and they would prosecute the store owner first.Well he told us the answer "I'm Dead"
