Prefer ground floor, park in front of room or close, small dog friendly. (Dog is not allowed on furniture)
Healthy restaurant nearby.

Thank you.

Parking in front of your room is often more of a motel arrangement. But, after living here for nearly 10 years, I’ve no solid hotel recommendation. Hampton Inn, the Heat?? Don’t know. Knowledgeable suggestions??

Forgot the Heat is god friendly
We stayed at the heat, they left dog dishes for our dog and a couple large cookies.

Our go to suggestion for visiting friends and family that don’t stay with us is the Holiday Inn Express. It does not meet your needs though.

I’ve stayed at many hotels and each has pros and cons. But for me I prefer Nautical, Heat or Hampton Inn.

Holiday inn - right at the bridge. Easy walk to good food and drink.

The Travelodge is OK and you can walk to Angelinas or El Parisio. Dogs OK in some rooms.

I don’t know the hotel rates, but there are a few folks that rent there houses here for a reasonable price. I think one was Widget that was really reasonable… rented from him many years ago before we had a place. Like $100 a night (in a house!).

Thanks everyone. Only staying one night. Don't necessarily need to park near room, just a preference.

We stay @ the Hampton Inn when we dont rent a house. Its nice and they do have a few ground level rooms. Not sure about pets
