The fire was off to the side. They packed the rv's in a little tight to have a fire between them.

Funny story. Tommy had his stereo going with some classic rock. A older couple came up to Davey (from wired 4 sound) and asked "are you going to be playing this music all night long". Davey replied "yes we are" they said great we have a fire pit and will be over in a bit.

Funny story. Tommy had his stereo going with some classic rock. A older couple came up to Davey (from wired 4 sound) and asked "are you going to be playing this music all night long". Davey replied "yes we are" they said great we have a fire pit and will be over in a bit.

That is a change. I recall how many times they were asked to play something different at the sandbar besides rap. I guess going to Havasu changed them.

So we ran the first two or three card stops with our group. We would run out ahead and pick Beer stop locations and they’d catch up type deal because those can am’s Are crazy fast! If we would have followed we would have never kept up with those things.. lol

Anyhow this is pics from the last card stop we were all at together. Pretty cool old water tank deal for cattle. Makes ya wonder how they got something like that out here.

At one point when we were running ahead we came across some cars that had some troubles. Basically a flat tire but the spare didn’t clear the suspension.. this turned into a mash of other people’s spares, two jacks tires coming on and off.. lol. We were there for an hour and a half getting it all figured out.

Our group said on the radio that we were good samaritans, and just rolled on by with a wave.. lol. Fuckers. So much for leave no man behind in your group.

Anyhow I always tell people if you want to have the most fun stick with me.. lol

Well jokes on them for leaving us because I have friends in Search and Rescue and they know where all the cool shit is.. After the sweeper / clean up crew went by my buddies were off duty so Chris and Kristilyn took us out to see the cabins.. (plural). Apparently they were right off the course about 1/2-3/4 of a mile for the big cabin everyone talks about on here, and about a 1/2 mile for the other one I had never heard of.. (woodys cabin?)

I can’t be sure but I think these pics were all taken at woodys cabin. My phone was in he ranger so sorry for the pic quality. We gotta get Shawna a new phone.

I think these pics are the big cabin.. it’s hard to tell on the phone with the previews being so small.. plus I had never been to either before and they kind of look the same in pics (they were very different in person)

I marked them both on the gps for some winter rides with rdp’ers

Man you guys are dirty, looks like you guys had a good time. Cabins would have been cool to see. We started the Poker Run a tad earlier and towards the front. Was way more fun for me this year starting at the front and not passing people all day in a cloud of dust. The card stops were no where as good as they were last year. The only good one was the Taco stop. We were done at 11:15. Finished my car the night before at 12am. It was good, no issues, now back to make changes and do a few more things.

We had an absolute blast! Great weather, liked the course layout, no carnage in our group! We stopped between Card Stop 4 and the end to help someone that had a bolt fall out of the torsion bar mount...

Was chilly in the morning waiting for the start!

We made it to all of them.. When we hung out with search and rescue it was past the last card stop I believe.

So there was a guy I met while we were out doing this run that was telling me about the run to bouse. T ends at some bar out there? His cousin owns the bar.. I will ask wheeler about it
