I think Devo's version of "Satisfaction" is best version ever. Devo was so great and so original. I just worked with Mark Mothersbaugh (lead singer, co-founder) a few weeks ago. He's still going, making his eclectic electronic music.

I don’t think Gates of Steel would be my example of “killing it”. Secret Agent Man, Smart
Patrol/ Mr. DNA, Pink Pussycat, Snowball, Mongoloid, Gut Feeling is so much more the DEVO vibe with the opus being Swelling Itching Brain. Great band.

There is also the radio, (KROQ) friendly Girl U Want.

Yes, I am a Devotee, Blockhead.

In high school most of my friends were into metal yet bands like Oingo Boingo and Devo were totally accepted by all. Oingo Boingo played my high school, Westlake High School. Good times

Great piece of music, and group
If the two of you are Wall of Voodoo fans, I would recommend The Passenger, Longarm, Can’t Make Love and Ring of Fire from there OG EP. Then go from there.
