My wife loves that shit and was still buying it when she could find it. Basha's finally stopped carrying it so she's been without for a while. She was bummed to see the news its being dropped for good. I can't think of a soda that tastes worse.

It was diet coke of the 70’s. It’s about all there was unless you wanted sugar soda. Why the hell it lasted the past 20 years is a mystery.

My dad had a sales rep from Arkansas when I was a kid. He spent the night at our house once. When my mom asked him what he wanted for breakfast he said corn flakes with Coors instead of milk and a TAB to drink. Needles to say we were in shock and that was the last time he stayed at our house. BTW Tab is gross!

Reading that Tab was going to be discontinued made me think of my Mom.

She brought some home from the grocery store sometime around 1963. I was six that year. Mom didn't need to diet, she was just 27, and even though she had had four kids by then, she was slim. I think she bought it for the novelty.

This is just one of my oddball posts that aren't that interesting. But whenever something reminds me of my Supermom, the woman with six kids that did amazing things for us and my Dad, it's always nice to stop and savor my memories of her.
