Hey boys there’s gotta be someone out there that knows what the exact difference is between the DiMarco 21 and spectra 20.5 hulls, ive looked all over and found not much consistency in the answers. The has to be a guru on here that knows.
Thx for any info anyone can muster

I cannot answer with 100% accuracy, but it my understanding that the bottoms are exactly the same. The differences come in the deck mold. The DiMarco has some different features than the Spectra. The easiest to notice is the top of the transom area. The Spectra is a "step" where the DiMarco is a smooth roll off the back. There are probably more differences too. Maybe that's the same info you've already found on your quest.

If someone has better info please post, so I can be corrected and learn too.

Ralph also moved the dash forward to create more room for seating.

Spectra 20's are 20' 10", not sure on exact length of Dimarco.
Dimarco has more cabin space as mentioned above by moving the dash forward.

There we no laws in place on splashing a boat until the early to mid 70's, the Howard day cruiser was splashed right off a Spectra and little to no changes were made.

this is the biggest difference that i'm aware of, it also makes the deck look a little stubby, if you're into that kinda thing.

The bottom is the same the differences are on the top, the rear rolls off all the edges are rounded more, the sides where the cap comes together there is a recess and I personally think the dash is a hair shorter in height and is hair farther forward. I think just enough was changed not to get sued. This is my DiMarco and I’m very happy with it. Centurion, Kurtis and Canyon used the Dimarco mold and I think there was one more that used it but can’t remember.
