Watching it now, haven’t seen it in years.
Foegot just how awesome this movie and it’s cast is!

I highly recommend watching it on pain pills and vodka! It takes on a whole new clarity!!

On a side note I’m 4 days out of surgery and walking with just a cane.
Surgeon said he had to get out the big pry bar to get my old hip popped apart.
Didn’t want to come free.
Entire ass cheek is bruised.
Anyone getting a hip replacement make sure to get a walker, cane, and a “leg lifter” to have waiting at home.
I didn’t have the leg lifter and could not lift my affected leg into bed at all.
I ordered one on Amazon came in one day and is a $10 miracle.

Can you make it through the whole movie on pain pills and vodka? 🤤🥴
As said, great movie and cast. Kelly’s Heroes and The Great Escape as well. I enjoy most movies with an all star cast like that.
Take care and speedy recovery. 👍

Tommy,
Had no idea you had this cooking, take care Bud. For what it's worth my next door neighbor had it done some years back and said he wished he had done it 10 years earlier.

Love the dirty dozen…!

btw, the first thing the doc does after your out is bend your leg backward to pop the joint out…

also, compared to my hip replacement, my
Full knee placement makes the hip job feel like a mosquito bite..

knee replacement straight up is like a kick in the balls. Even on 4-5 Percocets a day..

Ouch.
yeah the knees are more intricate for sure from what I’ve seen and read.

He ended up using a ceramic ball on the steel peg with a titanium socket and polyurethane liner.
Said that was the best length combination.

Keep the cane in reach of the bed...I don't know about hip stuff, but with neck and back surgeries, I learned to flip the cane over, and hook the end of the bed. Then I'd pull myself upright, and turn letting my feet drop off the bed into a sitting position.

First movie I remember watching coming off of surgery and something in a drip..."The Fifth Element"...hot chick, weird aliens...kind of stoney.

Coors family produces most of the Ceramic body replacement parts installed these days. Knees, hip, shoulder etc. Adolph started Coors Tek during prohibition to get the family thru those screwed up years. They produce 1000s of parts, you name it they make it if Ceramics. Coors Tek more profitable than the beer business. 100% family owned and operated in Colarado.Family still owns and controls most of Coors 8 Breweries.

How’s that Vette treating you?
It might be a while before I can weasel into mine again!

Yea, a hip replacement would not be Vette friendly I'm sure. You should probably trade it in on a mini-van, they look easy to get in and out of.[emoji2957]

The car is a kick to drive, I forgot how much fun rowing gears is.

Take care of yourself and get healthy.
