I think most will enjoy it. It's a 8 part series 30 to 40 minutes an episode.
I still need to watch ep. 8 :)

That shit looks bad ass! More like Rogue One (probably my favorite of all the movies). I'll be watching that for sure.

Someone that's a Star Wars Fanboy explain to me who Bobba Fet was? I never really understood the explanation in the prequels about the mass cloning and all that shit. Anyone know his back story?

Thanks....So, is the Mandalorian Boba Fett? I see in the preview it goes over the capturing of Hon Solo which was Boba Fett's doing but the costumes are different.

Nevermind....Found the answer. I'm glad to read I'm not the only one that was a bit confused. It is NOT about Boba Fett, this is a new character. Takes place after Episode 6 and the fall of the empire when the galaxy is in unrest and lawlessness.

    I don't have Disney +
So I am just curious how this is being shown. Is it as a weekly / daily or can you binge watch all 8 at once if you choose.

My coworker watched it last night said it was fantastic. I guess there's another that'll be dropped Thursday (making two out this week) then it goes to weekly.

I'm waiting for a good version on the magic box! ;):D

You don't need to be a Star Wars fan to like it. It was really good.
SW Jar Jar Binks episode was when I lost interest.

Then 20.000 Leagues under the Sea. For 1954 it is still excellent in HD surround sound.

Weekly. Tank mentioned tomorrow will be the next episode.
Disney pulled all the stops, sank some serious bank. No PC yet.

For those of you that don't have Disney + but have Verizon you can get Disney + for a year free via Verizon. I just set-up the Verizon app on my phone and went under entertainment to set it up. Then downloaded the app on my Firestick and logged-in. I am going to check-out Mandalorian...looks cool.

How did you find the 4K version? I watched it on my 4K TV with my 4K Firestick and I didn't see an option for the 4K version. Though in details it did say that a 4K version was available.

The Mandalorian Icon appears in several different sections of the home menu.
    Scroll down.
I clicked on the Mandalorian icon in the Ultra HD and HDR section and it sure looks 4K.
If it's truth in menu I'm assuming it is 4K.

Caught the first 3 episodes so far. I dig it! I think it's well done. Wife is even into it a bit (she was totally not interested before watching).

Attempting to watch all of the Star Wars movies in timeline order:

    • Episode I: The Phantom Menace (1999)
    • Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002)
    • Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005)
    • Solo (2018)
    • Rogue One (2016)
    • Episode IV: A New Hope (1977)
    • Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980)
    • Episode VI: The Return of the Jedi (1983)
    • Episode VII: The Force Awakens (2015)
    • Episode VIII: The Last Jedi (2017)
    • Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)
The Mandalorian is supposed to fit-in after The Return of the Jedi.

He might be a clone of Yoda or he could be the son of Yoda. I think Yoda was around 800 years old when Luke Skywalker was trained by him. This baby Yoda is around 50 years old.

It's not Yoda. Yoda died in Return of the Jedi. Madalorian takes place after Return of the Jedi Like 15 years before The Force Awakens.

Just for the record....I think Rogue One is my favorite SW movie of all time so far. Guess I would rank Episode IV: A new Hope right up there. But Rogue One was bad ass. Dark. Loved the way they tied it in to the story line and brought old characters back, etc.

I have been watching the movies in chronological order for the last couple weeks and it's been pretty cool. Last weekend, I watched Rogue One and A New Hope and it was so cool how Rogue One ended right where A New Hope started. I am not even that much of a Star Wars nerd but I pretty much got a chill when a saw young Princess Leia.

Yeah, when I saw Rogue One in theaters and saw how they brought Grand Moff Tarkin back from the dead basically. They don't even need actors anymore. Crazy. The character of Tarkin is a total sleeper bad ass. I mean he has darth vader on a leash! And Peter Cushing was such a good actor. It was so cool to see him back on the screen. That to me was a jaw dropping moment. I was like, holy shit!
