Do aluminum heads have less water passages than iron heads?

I went from 76cc iron heads to aluminum 64cc heads and noticed some of the water passages are not there on the aluminum heads. This is on a 1987 ish gm 350 4 bolt block with edlebrock e street aluminum heads.

Gonna need to be more specific, photos would help. 400 small block had an extra small hole near the spark plug for cooling, not sure what else would be different. Other thing you can do is call Edelbrock tomorrow.
