So our family is growing and we need a golf cart with more seats. We currently have a 4 seat GEM. I came across these Chinese 6 seat 4x4 400cc golf cart/UTV.

I am fully aware of the quality issues with Chinese knock offs in the dirt bike/pitbike market. But for cruz'n around Carlsbad street driving will it hold up? 4x4 is nice for my wife to have something to bounce around the desert in a couple times a year. This deal could pull double duty for our family as a beach cruiser and a putt around the desert vehicle for the wife and kids without spending a ton of money.

What are the inmates thoughts? I cannot seem to find a reviews and I know RDP members know everything about everything.

Multiple places to buy them online. https://www.txpowersports.com/new-6-seater-400cc-4x4-limo-golf-cart-p/6-seater-limo-golf-cart.htm

Good luck finding parts & any support when it breaks. I've been in the cart business 25+ years. You will struggle to get it fixed. I tell people to run away. Buy EZGO, Club Car, or Yamaha
I had to look on Amazon for 2 minutes to find a new carburetor for my 34 year old Yamaha and it was under $20.
I have a Yamaha 2 stroke and a CC 8 place 4 stroke, both sit for months at a time and fire right up.

All great points. I figured as much but wanted to hear from the inmates.

Thanks. I bought a 6 seater can am defender for the Nieces and Nephews. Only reason I would sell it.

I was looking into those also. Very Bitchin rides for what we could use it for. I could register in Arizona but not sure how long I would be able to drive around Carlsbad getting poped

I think my wife's new club car 4 seater was around $11k, spend the additional coin and get a name brand, they are pretty much money in the bank these days anyway.
