For the life of me, I've been searching, but I suspect I am searching the wrong thing. I'm looking for a roll of whatever type of material they make dog doors out of. Clear is preferable, but if it's tinted a little that's fine.

It's for a custom sized dog door for a family friend, and someone wants to charge her $300 plus to replace the flap.

I put my micrometer on it, and came up with 3mm or ⅛ thick.

Does anyone have any leads on what exactly I'm looking for, because I can't seem to find clear vinyl that thick. TIA

That should get you close to what you're looking for.

Try checking McMaster Carr (mcmaster.com). I can’t say for sure they would have exactly what you want but have tons of stuff like that and ship out the same or next day.

I have big sheets of it but they are blue and red. I use them for welding

That was going to be my next avenue, we have an account with airgas, I was gonna stop by there. McMaster had what I needed, even in the ribbed scratch resistant clear material.
