At about 00:35 a great shot of the Arneson drive.

Nothing like having a fast boat and not knowing how to drive it:point

The ride was so bad the camera didn't even want to keep shooting. Towards the end of it all u could see was the deck of the bow

A little "tab" will do ya. I would think that drive, with no trim, is sensitive to weight balance of passengers, especially on such a small hull.

Looked like more of a setup issue to me then driver. It's got a little porpoise problem. As said earlier in the thread though with that small of a boat it could be something as simple as too much weight forward or back etc..

I never understood the value in the Arneson surface drive in a small recreational boat like an 18'er.
Efficiency.. If your 70 mph boat now goes 85 with just a drive swap you'd be into it!
