Didn’t take any picks of the doves, but my sons first buck of the year. We filled four tags last week, 26 to go.

Now that Sept 1 past, lets talk Quail.......i scouted yesterday a ton in Yucca/Alamo road.....saw only 2 coveys...both around 6-8 and neither near any of the usual water sources....rain earlier this week may have made puddles that they are using instead of the water sources, but I haven't heard good things about the hatches and yesterday didn't make me feel any better

I saw several thick coveys out near where we dove hunt in Mohave valley. I have never hunted quail there though. I normally just go out near my house near the guzzlers. Its always hit or miss. Quail is fun though man.
