A gay library aide tried to slip it into the summer event schedule, without approval by the Library Board, town council or County Supervisors. (The library is a joint City/County operation) Every other event had recommended age/class groups, such as K-3, high school, ages 6 through 10, etc. EXCEPT for the groomer show which was listed as "all ages". The community came out in droves to object to this kind of bullshit, so they canned it, at least for now. But I wouldn't doubt that they will be back to try it again.
