The Ferrari is a replica built on a 1980 Corvette. Ferrari the company for season three gave Miami Vice a testarossa to replace the replica Daytona's used on the show.

I heard climate control especially in Floriduh is a big deal. Being that the entire state is a big swamp and all. Gotta factor that into the price.
