Going to freshen my trailer up and I’m going to add a drive guard and ladder. Ladder is pretty simple I have that drawn out with two rails and 1x3 steps. The drive guard also looks to be easy but i was just looking for some ideas on what you guys have and the dimensions between the tow sections where the prop goes the length etc

Nice lookin trailer. Never seen the end closed off like that. Wonder if there would ever be any clearance issues prop to the 2x6 when loading? Defiantly adds to strength rather than just looks

Only way i can see that would be if you’re using a super shallow launch that the boat would float the ass barely while floating the bow to come off trailer. I don’t recall why but i had to dip under the boat one day at Jack Smith on trailer and the bow wasn’t even ready to float off and the rear was easily 6-10” over the bunks. I plan to do same style on mine but not 100% yet on the rear bar or not.

I actually think this may be @Boat 405 ’s trailer.

We had to make changes to the trailer. Some assumptions were made on the original build and the boat sat up too high on the trailer. So we cut out the center and lowered the bunks. Now it works perfectly. I had not seen many like this before I built this one. Now there are lots floating around.

My F26 had one. These aren’t great pics, but it’s all I could find.

So far this is what we have. Might cut it down and make it shorter but I like the angle. Going to run gator step and hopefully have the dcb logo or f26 In the middle. Slowly but surely lol. Got some of those fancy lights extreme sells with the recessed bezels and some new us mag ramblers. Hopefully paint soon.

Bitchin!! I like the distance between the two platforms. Always wanted to do those lights but I need to make a jig for them so they are in the exact same spot Through the trailer
I’ve done them on mine, mine had three now has 9. Used masking tape and a hole saw followed with a 4 1/2” grinder

Haha I didn’t even think of a hole saw. Went with the plasma knowing that I’m doing paint soon. Actually a lot easier than I thought to cut as far as the measuring goes. That’s the actual gatorstep brand?

Yes it is, and they have those in files.
Yellow bottom light grey top with a purple logo would be dope asF but that’s just me.

Hahha you have good taste, was thinking the same thing. I might paint the trailer a silver metallic or possibly a dark purple

Silver, purple is a rough one, like red it’ll chalk up after a few years and harder to keep clean. Almost think white under yours is perfect. Is there any silver in your gel?

Yea a bit of sliver around the purple and yellow around all the swooshes. Then the interior has a fair amount of silver carbon

Well got all caught up in the efi conversion I forgot to post the end result. Turned out pretty nice. Think I’m going to hold off on gator step until the off season when I completely redo the trailer was going to throw some Amazon junk on there but it’s a pain to Take back off might as well shoot myself in the foot at that point lol.
