I'm flying up to Salt Lake City Monday morning at 6am to pick up a new item to drive home.

I believe the break-in requires putting it through the gears under 50% redline. So getting off the freeway every hour is probably necessary.

Looking for a few suggestions off the 15:

- Quick food stops that aren't your normal fast food
- Gun shops (SLC, St. George, Las Vegas, etc.)
- Anything else to see real quick relatively close to the freeway

Ice cream shop in Beaver is always a treat.

There is also a historical fort up off the 70 not too far off the 15. Never been there though.

Lots of food in st George but everything else right along the freeway is pretty desolate except for truck stops

Damn! This place looks awesome!

I showed my wife and she wants to buy a flight and drive home with me now 🤣
We usually stop by for ice cream and some squeaky cheese (cheese curds) makes the truck smell great by the time we hit Vegas 🤣

We drive back and forth to Park City a lot.
Try to time your return to avoid the heavy traffic in Las Vegas, Hesperia/Victorville and the 91.
It takes about 9 hours without traffic.
We leave PC on weekdays ... never ever ever on a Sunday or it will take at least 13 to 14 hours minimum... IMHO.

Be prepared to drive in traffic that is moving at 90+ mph. The speed limit is 80 mph while in Utah and everyone drives over 90 mph. Being from SoCal it will be a highly unusual experience. You’ll be doing 85 and people will be blowing by you all day long.

This.
Sunday afternoon 15 is a parking lot from south vegas to at LEAST the bug station.
Then the jerkasses do HWY 95 to Searchlight and do 90 mph back across through Nipton on a 2 lane road.

I’ll give you one guess… my 04 Superduty had two stuck wide open injectors last weekend in Havasu.

I’ll post pics tomorrow 👍🏻

I'm passing through Salt Lake Wednesday with my new truck pulling the race boat trailer up to Burley Idaho. It's a nice drive 👍

Did you pay over sticker? I've got a friend looking at HD Silverados/Sierras and some of them are stickered around $78K and dealer is asking $95K.

No mark up on this truck 👍

Just already expensive as hell MSRP

In St, George.....Dixie Gun, Rowdys Range, Sportsman Warehouse, Cal Ranch

There is also a Cal Ranch and Sportmans in Cedar, they are almost across the street from each other and right off the Fwy.

Congrats! I am just down in South Jordan about 10 min from there.

Thanks to you… Stop #2

I had to leave pretty quick before I made too many purchases. That place is awesome.

CAL Ranch was badass.

Cruised down to Main Street in St. George but didn’t stop. The area between Cedar City and Mesquite is epic.

Just got through Vegas.
