My guess is the guy is doing this for a rolling advertisement for the latest and greatest ceramic coating.
I was thinking advertisement also. Looks like a Before and After for a detailing company. I saw a boat at the Havasu boat show several years ago that detailed half of a neglected orange and white, small outboard boat. Half the gel, half interior, half motor & trailer. It was a good way to advertise for their detailing company.

Only possible way to do that is to tape it off then throw the mud on it. No way you could clean the undercarriage like that after the mud

Yea save the pic then zoom, pretty sure it’s a wrap, and would seem it’s for a detail or ceramic shop, pretty awesome use of a vehicle for display tho, definitely catches ones eye.
