It’s the shit you don’t see that scares me…

I remember back in the day, like early 90’s, we would wave jump our jet skis outside of Dana point harbor.
Yeah we were those assholes…fight me 😂

When i ate shit pretty good, it took that fucking jet ski forever to circle back to me.
Even today I get the heebie jeebies just thinking about looking down into the darkness…

Big things underwater, like shipwrecks, also gives me the creeps.

I'd like to hear @RiverDave shark encounter

My craziest shark encounter, very young great white. Wife saw its dorsal fin swimming by in about 18in of water and I ran out and grabbed it. I did not expect it to be that big nor did I think it was a great white😳. It spent less that 10 minutes out of the water and it was having issues getting out past the break so a surfer helped it by putting it on his board and paddling past the break.

I would still like to do a cage dive with Great Whites though. They used to do them off of Catalina Island (might still).

Love surfers and sharks, but wouldn't it be ironic if that shark came back and ate the surfer in a few years?
