Not to thread hi jack but.......anybody rocking electric scooters? Been starting to look at some and curious if we have any real world reviews here.
I had the Segway Ninebot MAX which is their high end unit and it was a blast. Powerful and roomy. Pretty much like a BIRD but better. I sold it to @ONE-A-DAY so he can comment also.

I like my electric bike also because I feel like I am getting some exercise while using it LOL

Got a notice from E Lux they are raising the price $400 a bike due to 620% increase in shipping. Buy now if you are on the fence.

Bikes look sweet, I actually jumped mine off some curbs and things, about as rad as I get a 59, with the forks and suspension seat post, nice and soft and didn't break.

I did the same. I am really impressed. Which seat post did you get? I've heard they are awesome.

I got both my Himiways. The second one came last night. Fedex fucked up and took it from San Bernardino to Utah and then to me. What was supposed to be a one day delivery turned into 12 days. So far we love them. Going to take them for a real ride this weekend and report back.

Oh, and they raised the prices by $100 to $1,699 each since I bought them a few weeks ago.

Took them out today and went out on the trails by my house. Down hill, up hill, rocks, dirt, they handled everything that was thrown at them. So easy to ride. These bikes are quality made. Took about an hour to put each one together out of the box. Comes about 90% complete.

I bought a Bluetooth speaker and a phone holder for the bike and it’s awesome. We’re happy with the purchase. The fat tires make the ride really smooth.

I like yours, the guy's version seems much easier to mount with that dip in the bar. [emoji106] These look heavy, what's the weight ?

72 pounds with the battery. Battery weighs 9 pounds.

Bought these two for 900 each from a guy on offer up. They both had under 50 miles on them. He runs a rental business. Super happy with them. With price increase as mentioned above, they retail for 1700 plus tax.

Those are sharp.... love it when they route cables in frames. Lets get you some proper seats.

What determines absolute junk?
Serious
There's only a few motor manufacturers
Batteries can be hit or miss
My buddy has a Giant and probably close to $5000.
I probably have absolute junk but they've been great for a fraction of the cost I'm seeing here

I wouldn't call it junk. GF was 600 mine was 3000. Battery doesn't last as long but has never died on a ride. Mine is similar going up big hills but I am a lot heavier than her. Pretty sure they are all made in China. I would say it's a 600 bike like it's priced.

Neighbor across the street recently got a murf knock off. Guys on offer up claim to bought a batch from same manufacturer in China. Everything looks the same but no name on it. Was $1000 less than a murf.

Great post and spot on. Brand names don’t mean what they once did. At most these electric bike companies are making frames, most likely being made to a spec/design. Same with the motor, battery and components. Most start off with a better product and cut quality as costs increase and/or demand slows. That’s not just bikes, it’s most everything in our backyards and garages.

I got one of the Himiway’s also, looking at all of the different ebikes from China they ALL seem to have a lot of the same parts.

These are pretty big bikes with 26” wheels. I am 6’ and the seat needs to be down almost all of the way to be able to sit on seat and have foot on the ground. My wife would not be able to ride this.

There is no pedal assist, you pedal it 3 or 4 revolutions and it just takes off full go and you have to ride the brakes to keep it at a even speed, you can either use the thumb control to ride it all electric or is you pedal it it goes to full power in at the max 4 pedal cycles. Also the adds are miss leading no twist throttle, basket missing and no help from the manuafacture

Yes it’s made for a bike

Outdoor Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker,Kunodi Wireless Portable Shower Travel Bike Speaker with Subwoofer, Enhanced Bass, Built in Mic for Bicycle Riding, Sports, Pool, Beach, Hiking (Black & Bracket) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TKTS6S...abc_YF367Y34G9B69BC6137A?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

How does it sound?

I went golfing with someone who had a similar sized Bose speaker. It was loud as hell and you could sync them. Obviously more expensive though.

It’s sounds pretty good for the price. I’m happy with it. My buddy got one for around $80 and it’s amazing.

That is why I decided on the EBC bikes. They are local. HB, Costa Mesa and Newport Beach. Built in the USA. There are other ebikes that I like. However, I don't want to buy a bike I can't demo. So, EBC worked best for me. I also prefer to buy a "more" built in the USA bike vs one built in China. I am sure they source some parts from China. I also like to be able to stop in to the shop if I have an issue.
Cheers, Steve

Thinking about something different… Anyone have any experience or thoughts on Super73, specifically this Super73-ZX?

They are really big in Hawaii, see a few around the beach. Look to much like a kids bike for my old ass.
