New 27 Daytona build just finished yesterday. Power package is a 700 Merc with an NXT Drive. Going to be testing it at the lake either Monday or Tuesday. I'll post the speeds then! What do you guys think??

Sweet boat, I probably wouldn't do the the white canopy even though they've been cut down, but I still think the boat is bad ass. :thumbsup

Thing came out beautiful. Great install on the stereo and lighting.

Just my opinion, but I would of painted the rub rail to match the boat and every other thing that is white on the boat, including the interior, I would of made silver or gray.

I like it, but prefer the Speedster. Great power and drive choice, and really like the simplicity of the instruments. All the info is available without the clutter. 95-100 top speed?

Couldn't have said better myself. I really like the power/drive combo for reliability.

I have the exact hull minus the open bow. I imagine the owner will be going with clear canopies at some point if they want to actually see anything unless they are 7 ft tall. That boat is going to go pretty good with that package. It is custom. :thumbsup

other than those windshields that looks like you will never see out of them.... boat looks good...

in my opinion eliminator needs to take the time with there gel graphics as all still look the same on all the boats, get rid of the darn carpet headliner look and just flat out order a darn roll of black or grey suede headliner... not that much more money when you charge big bucks like that...

Unless his canapies are cut down lower than mine he won't see much sitting down:)

Right there in that ballpark, I have 720hp in mine with an XR:)

They are "custom" boats.. Custom meaning they will build whatever the owner wants, however the owner wants..

I hear you. Also the cabin, seats layout, everything is low. Not to bring facts into this thread but here is a pic taken yesterday on my cruise through Devil's Elbow. I am 6'1 and this is my view.

i hear ya man.... Mainly i was meaning that all there boats should come with that headliner as a standard option.... just looks way nicer in my opinion... they should just get rid of that feature all together... :rolleyes

The canopies on this boat are cut down lower than any of the ones we have ever done that we all can remember doing here @ Eliminator. His cushions are 1 1/2" taller in his seats & the owner of the boat is 6' 4" tall.

Seems to me you might want some cushion when you're moving around under there. What's this headliner material you are talking about and who's using it?

why not run a cleaver prop? it would be intresting to see what speeds the boat gets with a bravo prop vs. a cleaver.

That would prob mean that he is looking over the canopies so no issue. But then why have canopies? It's his boat but the thought of my good friend at 6'6" riding in his wifes Mazda Miata comes to mind:D

Can't agree with the canopy comments more. But as the saying goes customers always right plus the fact is worst case scenario he brings it back and he gets clear or tinted canopies put on his boat.

The deck would have to be redone before it hit the mold if they removed the canopies. I guess they could have used the old ones that didn't have the ICC but that would look oldschool.

I was thinking maybe the speedster model would have worked:thumbsup

It will get wet by Friday. We ended up having to run 3 other boats down @ Elsinore prior to getting this one their to run. Will let you guys know as soon as we get off the water.

The 27' icc finally hit the water early this morning. 95 mph with a 34 on the rev limiter.

It is hot out there but I bet a 32, 5 blade cleaver will put that boat over 100 no problem.

It was only 73 this morning. Did not have amuck time to play with props this morning. Bob had to get back and get hitched up to the 43' eagle with 700 for a demo at 11:00 back at Elsinore.
